AN ACT to recaption the categories of legislation under
Title 4 of the Howard County Code, title "Contracts
and Purchasing" by changing said title caption to
read "Contracts, Purchasing and Property" and to add
new Subtitle 3 "Disposal of Unclaimed Personal
Property" to Title 4 "Contracts, Purchasing and
Property" of the Howard County Code, providing for
the orderly disposal of unclaimed abandoned lawfully
seized, or stolen personal property, except motor
vehicles, setting out provisions for reasonable
efforts to locate the owners thereof prior to said
disposal; providing for the disposition of any funds
realized as a result of said disposal; with the
further provision that certain of said property may,
upon request of the Howard County Council by
Resolution after public hearing, be donated to
recognized charitable agencies.

AN ACT to repeal and reenact with amendments Section
18,402 of the Howard County Code for the purpose of
implementing previously approved Capital Projects
K-4-5001, K-4-5002 and K-4-5003, for the restoration
of sidewalks in the Ellicott City, Elkridgo and
Savage Areas of Howard County.
AN ACT to repeal and reenact with amendments Section
18.402 - of the Howard County Code for the purpose of
permitting the County to award approved Capital
Improvement Projects identified in the Capital
Budget for the purpose of restoring to original
condition - certain sidewalks constructed prior to
1960 in Ellicott City, Elkridge, Savage or other
areas of Howard County.

Council Bill No. 22
AN ACT to amend Section 1.300 and 1.301 of the Howard
County Code, title "Administration" subtitle "Exempt
Service" —to adjust the rate of compensation for
members of the Exempt Service to add to the Exempt
Service persons not appointed by the Executive but
appointed by other appointing authorities, and to
add Section 1.302 "Executive Exempt Pay Plan" and
Section 1.303 "Miscellaneous Exempt Pay Plan".
