ANNEXATION RESOLUTION NO. 15
A Resolution of the Mayor and Councilmen of the City
of Frostburg to enlarge the corporate boundaries of the
City of Frostburg, and thereby amend the Charter of the
City of Frostburg.
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of
Frostburg, pursuant to the authority contained in Article
XI-E of the Constitution of the State of Maryland, and
Article 23-A, Section 19, of the Annotated Code of
Maryland, (1957 Edition, as amended), deem it in the
public interest to enlarge the corporate boundaries of
the City of Frostburg, and
WHEREAS, the area to be annexed is contiguous and
adjacent to the existing corporate boundaries, and
consent for said annexation has been obtained from the
owner of all the property located in the area to be
annexed, and there being no persons residing in said
area.
[Section 169 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Allegany County, repealed and reenacted, with amendments.
Effective Date August 2, 1976]

RESOLUTION of the Mayor and City Council of
Frostburg, Maryland, adopted pursuant to the authority of
Article 11-E of the Constitution of Maryland, and Section
13 of Article 23A of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957
Edition, as supplemented and amended), title
"Corporations—Municipal", subtitle "Home Rule", entitled
"A RESOLUTION TO AMEND THE CHARTER OF THE CITY OF
FROSTBURG (1963 EDITION, AS AMENDED), BEING ARTICLE 1A OF
THE CODE OF PUBLIC LOCAL LAWS OF MARYLAND, BY REPEALING
AND REENACTING, WITH AMENDMENTS, SECTION 173 THEREOF,
SETTING FORTH TERM AND ELECTION OF COUNCIL."
[Section 173 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Allegany County, repealed and reenacted, with amendments.
Effective Date September 21, 1976]
