MUNICIPAL CHARTERS
38° 52' 26" West 443.32 feet to a point, said point
lying 6 5 feet distant measured at right angles in a
northeasterly direction from the centerline of
Tollgate Road, thence still through the lands of
Glen Realty, Inc., and the lands of Bel Air Tollgate
Partnership by lines parallel to and 6 5 feet distant
measured at right angles in a northeasterly
direction from the centerline of Tollgate Road, five
courses viz: (5) North 09° 46' 43" West 70.61 feet,
(6) North 23° 41' 23" West 117.08 feet, (7) North
38° 52' 25" West 213.05 feet, (8) North 41° 25' 43"
West 927.31 feet and (9) North 41° 55' 00" West
78.65 feet to a point in and 194.00 feet from the
beginning of the third or South 37° 17' 45" West
259.00 feet line of that tract or parcel of land
conveyed by and described in a deed from W. Edgar
Durham, et al. to Hess Realty Corporation dated
October 5, 1972, and recorded among the land Records
of Harford County in Liber H.D.C. 909, folio 111,
thence binding reversely on part of the third and
all of the second lines of said conveyance, two
courses viz: (10) North 48° 28' 00" East 194.00 feet
and (11) North 41° 55' 00" West 184.00 feet to a
point in the southeasterly right—of—way line of U.S.
Route #1, said point also being in the outline of
the existing corporate limits of the Town of Bel
Air, thence binding thereon, two courses viz: (12)
North 4 8° 21' 48" East 427.15 feet and (13) North
47° 01' 10" East 491.30 feet to the beginning
hereof, containing 52.605 acres, more or less. WHEREAS, on the 14th day of April, 1975, there was
formally presented to the Commissioners of Bel Air a
written consent to this Resolution signed by twenty—five
percent (2534) of the persons who reside in the area to be
annexed and who are registered as voters in county
elections and from the owners of not less than
twenty—five percent (25%) of the assessed valuation of
the real property located in the area to be annexed,
requesting that the corporate boundaries of the Town of
Bel Air be enlarged by annexing the area so described. WHEREAS, the Town of Bel Air has caused to be made a
verification of the signatures on said consent to
annexation and have verified that the persons signing the
petition represent at least twenty—five percent (2536) of
the persons who reside in the area to be annexed and who
are registered to vote in the county elections for
Harford County, in which said area is located and that
the persons signing the consent to annexation are the
owners of at least twenty—five percent (25%) of the
assessed valuation of the real property located in the
area sought to be annexed. WHEREAS, it appears that the consents meet all the
requirements of law.
