State of Maryland under the provisions of Article XIV of
the Constitution of the State of Maryland, said Act being
as follows:
AN ACT concerning Debtors — Property Exempted from
Execution. For the purpose of opening to legislation the
amount of property a debtor may have protected from
execution.
And it is hereby certified that at said election,
497,163 votes were cast for the adoption of said Chapter
549 and 262,370 votes were cast against the adoption of
said Chapter 54 9, the said Chapter 549 of the Acts of
1976 has therefore been ratified by the qualified voters
of the State of Maryland.

Maryland, Done at the City of Annapolis, this 23rd day of
November, In the Year of Our Lord, One Thousand, Nine

1976, Chapter 550 — New Counties — Number of Inhabitants
STATE ADMINISTRATIVE BOARD OF ELECTION LAWS
ANNAPOLIS, MARYLAND
Pursuant to the provisions of Section 23—11 of
Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, the State
Administrative Board of Election Laws does hereby certify
that at the General Election held in the State of
Maryland on November 2, 1976, an Act known as Chapter 550
of the Acts of 1976 was submitted to the voters of the
State of Maryland under the provisions of Article XIV of
the Constitution of the State of Maryland, said Act being
as follows:
AN ACT concerning New Counties — Reference to Race
in Number of Inhabitants. For the purpose of removing
reference to race in number of inhabitants required to
form new counties or change county lines and submitting
this amendment to the qualified voters of the State of
Maryland for their adoption or rejection,
And it is hereby certified that at said election,
598,284 votes were cast for the adoption of said Chapter
550 and 198,875 votes were cast against the adoption of
said Chapter 550, the said Chapter 550 of the Acts of
1976 has therefore been ratified by the qualified votes
of the State of Maryland.
