MARVIN MANDEL, Governor
relating to the powers and duties of the Attorney
General; providing for the State's Attorney to perform
such duties and receive such salary as the General
Assembly prescribes; correcting certain language; and
submitting this amendment to Section 3 and this amendment
to Section 9 as separate ballot questions to the
qualified voters of the State of Maryland for their
adoption or rejection. And it is hereby certified that at said election,
604,723 votes were cast for the adoption of said Chapter 545  and 171,265 votes were cast against the adoption of
said Chapter 545, the said Chapter 545 of the Acts of
1976 has therefore been ratified by the qualified voters
of the State of Maryland. GIVEN Under My Hand and the Seal of the State

Maryland, Done at the City of Annapolis, this 23rd day of
November, In the Year of Our Lord, One Thousand, Nine

Administrator 1976, Chapter 546 — Former Judges — Temporary Assignment STATE ADMINISTRATIVE BOARD OF ELECTION LAWS ANNAPOLIS, MARYLAND Pursuant to the provisions of Section 23—11 of
Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, the State
Administrative Board of Election Laws does hereby certify
that at the General Election held in the State of
Maryland on November 2, 1976, an Act known as Chapter 546
of the Acts of 1976 was submitted to the voters of the
State of Maryland under the provisions of Article XIV of
the Constitution of the State of Maryland, said Act being
as follows: AN ACT concerning Temporary Assignment of Former
Judges. For the purpose of granting the Chief Judge of
the Court of Appeals, upon majority approval of the Court
of Appeals, the authority to assign temporarily certain
former Judges to sit in any State Court, with an
exception; and submitting this amendment to the qualified
voters of the State of Maryland for their adoption or
rejection. And it is hereby certified that at said election,
522,812 votes were cast for the adoption of said Chapter 546  and 250,644 votes were cast against the adoption of
said Chapter 546, the said Chapter 546 of the Acts of
1976 has therefore been ratified by the qualified voters
