MARVIN MANDEL, Governor                            3 951 of the members of the County Council of Howard County by
councilmanic districts, or by the voters of the entire
county, or by a combination of these methods of election,
and providing for the submission of this amendment to the
qualified voters of the State of Maryland for their
adoption or rejection. And it is hereby certified that at said election,
465,326 votes were cast for the adoption of said Chapter
785 and 202,115 votes were cast against the adoption of
said Chapter 785, the said Chapter 785 of the Acts of 1975 has therefore been ratified by the qualified voters
of the State of Maryland. GIVEN Under My Hand and the Seal of the State
Administrative Board of Election Laws of the State of
Maryland, Done at the City of Annapolis, this 23rd day of
November, In the Year of Our Lord, One Thousand, Nine

STATE ADMINISTRATIVE BOARD OF ELECTION LAWS
ANNAPOLIS, MARYLAND Pursuant to the provisions of Section 23—11 of
Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, the State
Administrative Board of Election Laws does hereby certify
that at the General Election held in the State of
Maryland on November 2, 1976, an Act known as Chapter 541
of the Acts of 1976 was submitted to the voters of the
State of Maryland under the provisions of Article XIV of
the Constitution of the State of Maryland, said Act being
as follows: AN ACT concerning General Assembly Compensation
Commission. For the purpose of providing that all
members of the General Assembly shall receive equal rates
of compensation and pensions; providing that officers of
the Senate and of the House of Delegates may receive
certain compensation; and submitting this amendment to
the qualified voters of the State for adoption or
rejection. And it is hereby certified that at said election,
4 16,207 votes were cast for the adoption of said Chapter
541 and 385,305 votes were cast against the adoption of
said Chapter 541, the said Chapter 541 of the Acts of 1976  has therefore been ratified by the qualified voters
of the State of Maryland.
