8-321. SAME—APPROVAL, SIGNING, AND RECORDING.
(A) COMMISSION APPROVAL REQUIRED.
THE PLATS AND ESTIMATES PREPARED BY THE
ADMINISTRATION REQUIRE APPROVAL BY A RESOLUTION OF THE
COMMISSION.
(B) SIGNING AND RECORDING.
IF THE PLATS AND ESTIMATES ARE APPROVED BY THE
COMMISSION:
(1) THE CHAIRMAN OF THE COMMISSION SHALL SIGN
THE COVER SHEET OF EACH SET OF PLATS; AND
(2) A SET OF PLATS AND ITS SIGNED COVER SHEET
SHALL BE FILED FOR RECORD WITH:
(I) THE SECRETARY OF THE COMMISSION; AND
(II) THE CLERK OF THE COURT FOR THE COUNTY IN
WHICH THE PROPERTY TO BE ACQUIRED IS LOCATED.
(C) DUTIES OF OFFICIALS.
THE SECRETARY OF THE COMMISSION AND THE CLERK OF THE
COURT EACH SHALL RECORD THE PLATS FILED WITH HIM.
REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived
without substantive change from the next to
the last sentence of Art. 89B, §13, and the
first sentence of Art. 89B, §14.
In subsection (b) of this section, the present
requirement that the plats be recorded with
the clerk of the court for the County "through
which the...highway traverses" is changed for
clarity to refer simply to the county "in
which the property to be acquired is located".
8-322. SAME--COMMISSION RECORDS; PUBLIC INFORMATION.
(A) MAINTENENCE MAINTENANCE AS PERMANENT RECORDS.
THE PLATS AND ESTIMATES APPROVED BY THE COMMISSION
SHALL BE KEPT AS PART OF THE PERMANENT RECORDS OF THE
COMMISSION.
