(House Bill 1609)
AN ACT concerning
Baltimore County - Alcoholic Beverages
(Grandfather Clause)
FOR the purpose of prohibiting Chapter 883 of the Laws of
1975 from applying to or affecting any present
alcoholic beverage licensee in Baltimore County
having a certain license prior to a certain date.
BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages
Sections 14(c), 16(d), 19(e), and 21(d)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Sections 14(c), 16(d), 19(e), and 21(d) of
Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages, of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1976 Replacement Volume and 1976 Supplement)
be and they are hereby repealed and reenacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:
Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages

(c) In Baltimore County the annual license fee
[shall be] IS $150. The area of the licensed premises
normally used as a restaurant for the preparation and
consumption of food and beverage on the premises may
occupy no less than 80 percent of the square foot area.
THESE OCCUPANCY REQUIREMENTS DO NOT APPLY TO OR AFFECT
ANY PRESENT LICENSEE HAVING THIS LICENSE PRIOR TO MAY 1,
1975 1960 DECEMBER 3 1, 1966.

(d) In Baltimore County the annual fee for the
license is $100. The area of the licensed premises
normally used for the preparation and consumption of
alcoholic beverages on the premises may occupy no less
than 80 percent of the square foot area. THESE OCCUPANCY
REQUIREMENTS DO NOT APPLY TO OR AFFECT ANY PRESENT
LICENSEE HAVING THIS LICENSE PRIOR TO MAY 1, 1975 1960
DECEMBER 31, 1966.
