AN ACT concerning
Mental Health Facilities - Admission of Minors
FOR the purpose of repealing certain provisions relating
to the admission of minors to mental facilities;
applying to the admission of minors to mental
facilities the same standards used for involuntary
admission of adults to mental health facilities; and
generally relating to the admission of minors to
mental health facilities, except under certain
conditions.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 11(g) of Article 59 - Mental
Hygiene, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1972
Replacement Volume and 1976 Supplement) be and it is
hereby repealed and reenacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:
