FOR the purpose of altering the definition of person with
regard to the laws concerning alcoholic beverages.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 2(f) of Article 2B - Alcoholic
Beverages, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1976
Replacement Volume and 1976 Supplement) be and it is
hereby repealed and reenacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:
Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages
2.
For the purposes of this article and unless
otherwise required by the context:
(f) "Person" means a natural person, an
association, a partnership, [or] a corporation, OR A
STATE, POLITICAL SUBDIVISION, OR MUNICIPALITY, OR ANY
AGENCY OR INSTRUMENTALITY OF THE STATE, ANY POLITICAL
SUBDIVISION, OR MUNICIPALITY.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1977.
