LOCATED ON LAND OWNED, LEASED, OR OPERATED BY THE STATE,
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, A MUNICIPALITY, WASHINGTON SUBURBAN
SANITARY COMMISSION, MARYLAND-NATIONAL CAPITAL PARK AND
PLANNING COMMISSION, MONTGOMERY COUNTY REVENUE AUTHORITY
OR WASHINGTON METROPOLITAN AREA TRANSIT AUTHORITY.
(B) ANY PERSON VIOLATING THE PROHIBITIONS OF THIS
SECTION SHALL BE DEEMED GUILTY OF A MISDEMEANOR; AND UPON
CONVICTION THEREOF, SHALL BE SUBJECT TO A FINE OF NOT
MORE THAN $100.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1977.

CHAPTER 919
(Senate Bill 926)
AN ACT concerning
Unemployment Insurance Lav
FOR the purpose of extending coverage under the
unemployment insurance lav to include after a
certain date certain employment in agricultural
labor, domestic service, and service not in the
course of the employer's trade of business and
certain employment by governmental entities and
nonprofit groups; enabling employing units to elect
to cover certain of these services before that date;
extending eligibility for benefits based on certain
of these services subject to certain conditions;
changing the eligibility conditions during periods
of pregnancy; and limiting by a certain date
disqualification based on retirement pay; excluding
certain athletes and aliens from coverage;
increasing the taxable wage base for contributions;
changing the on and off indicators for extended
benefits; defining certain terms; correcting certain
language; renumbering certain provisions; and
generally relating to the unemployment insurance
law.
BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
Article 95A — Unemployment Insurance Law
Sections 4(d) and (f), 6(f) and (h), 8(e)(2) and
(f), 9(b)(1) and (3), 20(f), (g)(7)(iii)
through (v), inclusive, and (8), (i), (m),
(n)(1), (q) and (r), 21(a)(1) through (5)
and (h)
