PARCELS OF SUBDIVIDED LAND WHICH ARE PURCHASED BY THE
SAME OWNER, THE COMBINED ACREAGE EXCEEDS 20 ACRES, AND
THE PARCELS REMAIN IN AGRICULTURAL USE WERE RECEIVING AN
AGRICULTURAL USE ASSESSMENT: PROVIDED THAT THE PURCHASER
REQUESTS THAT THESE PURCHASED PARCELS BE GRANTED AN
CONTINUED AS AGRICULTURAL OR FARM USE ASSESSMENT.
For purposes of this subparagraph (iii), subdivision
shall be evidenced by either a recorded plat or by a
known, but unrecorded, plat used for purposes of selling
or conveying lots or parcels even if the deed description
of the lot or parcel does not refer to that plat.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1977.

AN ACT concerning
Financing of Public Service Commission
FOR the purpose of increasing the ceiling of the annual
assessment on public service companies to pay the
costs and expenses of the Public Service Commission
and providing that a certain portion of this
assessment shall be allocated to the office of
People's Counsel.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 88(b) of Article 78 - Public
Service Commission Law, of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1975 Replacement Volume and 1976 Supplement) be and it
is hereby repealed and reenacted, with amendments, to
read as follows:
