SUBTITLE 6. LABOR RELATIONS.
7-601. LABOR CONTRACTS.
THE ADMINISTRATION MAY DEAL WITH AND MAKE WRITTEN
CONTRACTS AS TO WAGES, SALARIES, HOURS, WORKING
CONDITIONS, AND PENSION AND RETIREMENT PROVISIONS WITH
THE ACCREDITED REPRESENTATIVES OF THE EMPLOYEES WHO
FORM PART OF ANY OPERATING COMPANY THAT THE
ADMINISTRATION ACQUIRES, INCLUDING THE REPRESENTATIVE OF
ANY LABOR ORGANIZATION AUTHORIZED TO ACT FOR THOSE
EMPLOYEES.
REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived
without substantive change from the first
paragraph of Art. 64B, §37(b).
As to the exercise of the powers granted by
this subtitle, see §7—203(b) of this title.
As to provisions relating to personnel,
generally, see §7-206 of this title.
7-602. ARBITRATION IN LABOR DISPUTES.
(A) "LABOR DISPUTE" DEFINED.
IN THIS SECTION, "LABOR DISPUTE" IS TO BE CONSTRUED
BROADLY AND INCLUDES ANY CONTROVERSY AS TO:
(1) WAGES, SALARIES, HOURS, OR OTHER WORKING
CONDITIONS;
(2) BENEFITS, INCLUDING HEALTH AND WELFARE,
SICK LEAVE, INSURANCE, PENSION, OR RETIREMENT PROVISIONS;
