SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That new Section 98E be and it is hereby added
to Article 77 - Public Education, of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1975 Replacement Volume and 1976 Supplement)
to read as follows:
Article 77 - Public Education
98E.
A PERSON MAY NOT BE PROHIBITED FROM OPERATING A
SCHOOL BUS UP TO AGE 70 IF THAT PERSON CAN PASS A
COMPLETE PHYSICAL EXAMINATION ANNUALLY SOLELY BECAUSE OF
AGE, PROVIDED THAT PERSON CAN MEET ALL OTHER REQUIREMENTS
AS ESTABLISHED BY THE STATE BOARD OF EDUCATION.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1977.

AN ACT concerning
Legal Assistance Organizations
FOR the purpose of requiring certain organizations which
recommend, furnish, arrange, or pay for legal
services for their own members or beneficiaries to
file an annual report of its activities and
financial condition with the Division of Consumer
Protection within the office of the Attorney
General; roquiring the report to comply with certain
requirements; providing a penalty for failure to
file providing that these organizations are subject
to the powers and duties of the Division of Consumer
Protection of the Attorney General's office; and
generally relating to prepaid legal service plans or
similar arrangements for the provision of legal
services to members of a group.
