SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 150 (a-1) of Article 2B - Alcoholic
Beverages, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1976
Replacement Volume and 1976 Supplement) be and it is
hereby repealed and reenacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:
Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages
150.
(a—1) In Cecil County, the Board of County
Commissioners shall appoint three other persons, all of
whom are to be of high moral character and possess a
sound reputation for integrity, [who shall] TO constitute
the board of license commissioners for the county[;
the]THE members of the board shall designate their own
chairman[; the] THE first members of [said] THE board
[to] SHALL be appointed for three-, four— and five-year
terms, respectively, and their successors [thereafter]
for terms of five years each. The board of license
commissioners shall meet at least once a month. The
annual salary of the chairman [shall be six hundred
dollars ($600)] IS $900 and the annual salary of the
other commissioners [shall be five hundred dollars
($500)] IS $7 50. Each SHALL RECEIVE necessary expenses
in connection with his duties to be paid by the
Commissioners.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1977.
