[such] THE license with the official authorized to
approve the same. [Such] THE renewal application shall
state that the facts in the original application are
unchanged[, and]. IT shall be accompanied by a statement
signed by the owner of the premises consenting to renewal
of the license and to search and seizure as in the case
of original applications [except that in]. IN the case
of retail dealers applying for renewal, [such] THE
statement of consent by the owner of the premises [shall]
MAY not be required if [such] THE owner has previously
signed such a statement in connection with an original
application or previous renewal application giving [such]
consent for the term of [such] THE owner's lease with the
applicant if the lease or renewal [thereof] does not
expire during the term of the renewal license[, and
upon]. UPON the filing of [such] THE renewal application,
and upon payment of the annual fee [herein prescribed],
the holder [or holders] of [such] THE expiring license
[shall be] IS entitled to a new license for another year
without the filing of further statements or the
furnishing of any further information unless specifically
requested by the official authorized to approve [such]
THE license. [Provided, however, that no] A license by
way of renewal [shall] MAY NOT be approved without a
hearing before such official if a protest signed by not
less than ten residents or real estate owners [of the
precinct or voting district] IN THE IMMEDIATE VICINITY in
which the licensed place of business is located, or
instituted by the licensing board on its own initiative,
has been filed against the granting of [such] THE new
license at least [thirty (30)] 30 days before the
expiration of the license for which renewal is sought.
If [such] THE protest has been filed it shall be heard
and determined as in the case of original applications,
except in Baltimore City it shall be heard and determined
not as in the case of original application in regard to
zoning but only on a specific complaint as to the
operation of [said licensee(s)] THE LICENSEE'S
establishments. 71A. (a) in Anne Arundel County AND IN HARFORD COUNTY
only, any license issued under the provisions of this
article [must] SHALL be revoked if, after hearing as
provided in § 70 of this subtitle, any of the following
activities are found to occur on any premises or location
for which the license was issued: (1) With respect to attire and conduct: (i) Employment or use of any person in
the sale or service of alcoholic beverages in or upon the
licensed premises while [such] THE person is unclothed or
in such attire, costume or clothing so as to expose to
view any portion of the female breast below the top of
the areola or of any portion of the pubic hair, anus,
cleft of the buttocks, vulva or genitals.
