The requesting authority for whose convenience and
protection the policeman has been appointed is also
responsible for any wrongful actions committed by him in
the course of his duties as well as any abuse of the
powers granted by the Commission either on or off the
premises. 140. (c) The Superintendent of Baltimore Public
Buildings and Grounds, subject to the direction of the
Secretary of General Services, shall be responsible for
maintaining and guarding the following public buildings
OF THIS STATE (with their associated grounds) [of the
State]: the State Office Building in Baltimore, the State
[Roads Commission] HIGHWAY ADMINISTRATION Building in
Baltimore, the former Department of Motor Vehicles
Building in Baltimore, and such other buildings and
grounds owned or controlled by the State in or in the
vicinity of Baltimore as may be designated by the Board
of Public Works. 256. An aggrieved party may secure a review of any final
judgment of the circuit court or Baltimore City Court, as
the case may be, under this subtitle by appeal to the
Court of Special Appeals. Such appeal shall be taken in
the manner provided by law for appeals from law courts in
other civil cases. This section [shall] DOES not apply
to cases arising under [Article 66 1/2 of the Annotated
Code of the Public General Laws of Maryland in which no]
THE MARYLAND VEHICLE LAW UNLESS A right to appeal to the
Court of Special Appeals is specifically provided. 359A. (c) The Commission shall be composed of eleven
members, with one member representing each of the
following fields: agriculture; atomic energy industry;
education; labor; law[,]; medicine; Maryland Port
[Authority] ADMINISTRATION; power; public health;
transportation; sanitary engineering. SECTION 11. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section
463(1) of Article 43 - Health, of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1971 Replacement Volume and 1976 Supplement) be
and it is hereby repealed and reenacted, with amendments,
to read as follows: Article 43 - Health 453. (1) Notwithstanding any contrary provision of law,
any municipality is hereby authorized and empowered to
transfer jurisdiction over, to lease, lend, grant, sell,
or convey to any authority upon the request of such
