Ch. 13
LAWS OF MARYLAND
(C) RULES AND REGULATIONS. THE ADMINISTRATION MAY ADOPT RULES AND REGULATIONS
TO CARRY OUT THE PROVISIONS OF THIS TITLE. REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection presently appears as
Art. 64B, §8(p). The only changes are in style. 7-205. GENERAL POWERS OF ADMINISTRATION SUBJECT TO PRIOR APPROVAL. (A) IN GENERAL. IN ADDITION TO THE SPECIFIC POWERS GRANTED UNDER
THIS TITLE, THE ADMINISTRATION HAS THE POWERS GRANTED BY
THIS SECTION, SUBJECT TO THE APPROVAL REQUIRED BY §7-203(B) OF THIS SUBTITLE. REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection is new language
added to clarify the major distinction between
the general powers granted in §7-204 and this
section. (B) RULES AND REGULATIONS. THE ADMINISTRATION MAY ADOPT RULES AND REGULATIONS TO CARRY OUT THE PROVISIONS OF THIS TITLE. REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection presently appears as
Art. 64B, §8(d). The present reference to amending and
repealing rules and regulations is deleted as
unnecessary and as implicit in the power to
"adopt" them. The only other changes are in style. (G) (D) ACQUISITION AND DISPOSITION OF PROPERTY. IF NECESSARY OR USEFUL IN RENDERING TRANSIT SERVICE
OR INCIDENTAL ACTIVITIES, THE ADMINISTRATION MAY: (1)             CONSTRUCT, ACQUIRE, OWN, OPERATE,
MAINTAIN, AND CONTROL ANY INTEREST IN ANY PROPERTY,
WHETHER BY CONTRACT, PURCHASE, CONDEMNATION, LEASE AS
LESSOR OR LESSEE, LICENSE, GIFT, MORTGAGE, OR OTHERWISE; AND (2)   IF THE PROPERTY IS NO LONGER REQUIRED FOR
THE PURPOSES OF THE ADMINISTRATION, SELL, CONVEY, OR
OTHERWISE DISPOSE OF IT.
