AN ACT concerning
Carroll County — Maintenance Master Plumber
FOR the purpose of creating the position of "maintenance
master plumber" for Carroll County and requiring
that a person or firm doing its own engaged in
maintenance or plumbing work be licensed repairs in
Carroll County must have a maintenance licensed
plumber on the staff; providing for examination of
applicants and issuance of certificates; and
generally relating to the plumbing regulation ;
charging of fees and issuance of certificates.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That new Section 325C (C) be and it is hereby
added to Article 43 — Health, of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1971 Replacement Volume and 1976 Supplement) to
read as follows:

325C.
(C) (1) FOR CARROLL COUNTY, THE TERM
"MAINTENANCE MASTER PLUMBER" AS USED IN THIS TITLE,
MEANS ANY PERSON, FIRM OR CORPORATION ENGAGED IN THE WORK
OF MAINTAINING, SERVICING, OR REPAIRING ANY KIND OF
EXISTING PLUMBING INSTALLATION. THE REGULATIONS SHALL
REQUIRE THAT ANY PERSON, FIRM, OR CORPORATION DOING ITS
OWN MAINTENANCE, SERVICE, OR REPAIRS ON ITS OWN PREMISES
IN CARROLL COUNTY MUST HAVE AT LEAST ONE REPRESENTATIVE
LICENSED AS A MAINTENANCE MASTER PLUMBER WHO IS
RESPONSIBLE TO THE BOARD FOR ALL EMPLOYEES UNDER HIS
SUPERVISION. PREMISES REQUIRING A LICENSED
REPRESENTATIVE UNLESS THEY HOLD A MASTER PLUMBER'S
