MARVIN MANDEL, Governor
General Revisor's Note to Title 3 of this article, former
Art. 62B, §§8, 8A, 8B, and 18(a) have been decodified and
former Art. 62B, §§10 through 17 have been repealed (see,
Sections 2 and 6 of Ch. 608, Acts of 1976).
TITLE 7. MASS TRANSIT. SUBTITLE 1. DEFINITIONS; GENERAL PROVISIONS. 7-101. DEFINITIONS. (A)   IN GENERAL. IN THIS TITLE THE FOLLOWING WORDS HAVE THE
MEANINGS INDICATED. REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection presently appears as
the introductory clause to Art. 64B, §2. The present phrase, "unless the context
clearly requires a different meaning", is
deleted as unnecessary. The only other changes are in style. See, also, §1—101 of this article for other
applicable definitions. (B)   ADMINISTRATION. "ADMINISTRATION" MEANS THE MASS TRANSIT
ADMINISTRATION. REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection presently appears as
Art. 64B, §2(a). The term "Authority", which is defined in
present Art. 64B, §2(a) as synonymous with
"Administration", is deleted as unnecessary
since all references in this title to the
former Metropolitan Transit Authority are
replaced by "Administration", representing the
correct name of the unit, as changed by Ch.
253, Acts of 1971. Also deleted as unnecessary is the present
phrase "and any successor entity" and the
present reference to the statute by which the
Administration is established (see, §7—201 of
this title). The only other changes are in style. (C)   ADMINISTRATOR. "ADMINISTRATOR"             MEANS            THE          MASS          TRANSIT ADMINISTRATOR.
