(Senate Bill 566)
AN ACT concerning
Gambling — Seized Money
FOR the purpose of providing the procedure for forfeiture
or return of moneys seized in connection with an
arrest for gambling; clarifying certain
jurisdictional matters; renumbering as appropriate;
and dealing generally with disposition of moneys
seized in gambling arrests.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 264(c) Sections 264 (a) and (c) of
Article 27 - Crimes and Punishments, of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1976 Replacement Volume and 1976
Supplement) be and it is they are hereby repealed and
reenacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
