REQUIREMENTS FOR PUBLIC BODIES SET FORTH IN ARTICLE 100,
SUBTITLE "CONTRACTS FOR PUBLIC WORKS".

As to contracts for architectural and
engineering services, see, also, Title 2,
Subtitle 3 of this article.
The bidding requirements of this section apply
to contracts of $5,000 or more; in §§ 5—214
and 7—403 of this article, dealing with the
State Aviation Administration and the Mass
Transit Administration, respectively, the like
requirement applies only to construction
contracts costing over $10,000. Also, while
the various other provisions of §§ 5-214 and
7—403 are substantively similar to one
another, the provisions of this section are of
a considerably dissimilar nature. The General
Assembly may wish to review those various
sections and consider conforming their
respective provisions.
6-210. MARYLAND PORT ADMINISTRATION POLICE FORCE.
(A) FORCE ESTABLISHED.
THESE IS A MARYLAND PORT ADMINISTRATION POLICE FORCE
IN THE ADMINISTRATION.

added to clarify the existence of the Police
Force and its status as part of the
Administration.
