AN ACT concerning
Montgomery County — Washington Suburban Sanitary
Commission
(Removal of Commissioners)
(MC/PG 43-77)
FOR the purpose of granting to the County Council of
Montgomery County the right to remove Commissioners
of the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission
appointed from that County subject to disapproval by
the Montgomery County Executive.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Sections 1-1(b) and (c) of the Code of the
Washington Suburban Sanitary District (1969 Edition, as
amended), being also Sections 86-1—1 (b) and (c) of the
Public Local Laws of Montgomery County being Article 16
of the Public Local Laws of Maryland (1972 Edition and
1975 Supplement, as amended), being also Sections
83-57(b) and (c) of the Public Local Laws of Prince
George's County being Article 17 of the Public Local Laws
of Maryland (1963 Edition and 1967 Supplement, as
amended) be and they are hereby repealed and reenacted,
with amendments, to read as follows:
