alignment to existing lots and streets; (10) control of

preservation of outstanding natural or cultural features
and historic sites or structures; or (12) other benefits
to the health; , comfort, safety or welfare of the
present and future population of the regional district.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1977.

AN ACT concerning
Railroad Vandalism
FOR the purpose of prohibiting certain interferences with
certain objects relating to railroads; providing for
penalties upon conviction; and generally relating to
the crime of railroad vandalism defining a certain
term; providing certain penalties for persons
committing certain unlawful malicious and
destructive acts against railroad property,
locomotives, certain other railroad cars, and the
occupants of these locomotives and railroad cars.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That new Sections 460B and 460C be and they are
hereby added to Article 27 - Crimes and Punishments, of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1976 Replacement Volume
and 1976 Supplement) to read as follows:
