AN ACT concerning
Calvert County — County Treasurer
FOR the purpose of altering the salary and eliminating
the expanse account of the Calvert County treasurer;
altering the salary of the deputy treasurer; and
providing that the salary alteration does not affect
the incumbent provisions of this Act do not affect
the incumbents.
BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 51(c)(1) of Article 25 - County
Commissioners, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1973
Replacement Volume and 1976 Supplement) be and it is
hereby repealed, and reenacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:
Article 25 - County Commissioners
51.
(c) (1) The county treasurer of Calvert County
shall receive an annual salary of [$8,000] $18,500 [and
an allowance for clerical help incidental to his office
of $3,000 per year during the term of office, the
allowance for clerical help to be paid out in semimonthly
