Preamble
WHEREAS, In the first sentence in paragraph (4) of
subsection (i) in § 103A of Article 41, as enacted by
Chapter 679, Acts of 1976, "as" should be added preceding
"an inducement".
Subsection (d) in § 103C of Article 41, as enacted
by Chapter 679, Acts of 1976, is not clear. Two
sentences apparently were intended.
Chapter 540, Acts of 1976, "for the purpose of
creating the Maryland Parole Commission and * * *
abolishing the Maryland Board of Parole", repealed former
§§ 108 to 113 and 117 of Article 41, renumbered former §§
114, 115, and 116 to be §§ 117, 117A, and 117B and
enacted new §§ 108 to 116. Former § 114, which was
renumbered to be § 117, incorrectly refers to the "Board"
instead of "Commission". Former § 115 of Article 41,
which was renumbered to be § 117A, also refers to "the
Board" and again "Commission" should be added.
In subsection (f) of §231G-2, added by Chapter 724,
Acts of 1976, "exceed 5 percent" should be "exceed by 5
percent".
In subsection (b) of , § 231Q in Article 41, as
enacted by Chapter 732, Acts of 1974, and amended by
Chapter 362, Acts of 1976, "therefore" should be
"therefor".
Subsection (a) in § 224 of Article 41, last amended
by Chapter 648, Acts of 1976, refers to the "Board of
Parole" and the "Department of Parole and Probation". The
Board was abolished by Chapter 540, Acts of 1976,
