to §5-902.
(B) FEDERAL LICENSE.
A PERSON MAY NOT GIVE INSTRUCTION IN FLYING FOR
COMPENSATION UNLESS HE IS AN AUTHORIZED FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR
UNDER FEDERAL LAW.
REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection is new language
derived without substantive change from the
second sentence of Art. 1A, §6—603(c) and, as
to the added phrase "for compensation", the
first clause of Art. 1A, §1-104.
As to deletion of the present reference to an
"aeronautics instructor", see revisor's note
to §5-902 of this subtitle.
5-904. ISSUANCE; FEES.
(A) IN GENERAL.
EXCEPT AS PROVIDED IN SUBSECTION (B) OF THIS SECTION
AND IN §5-905 OF THIS SUBTITLE, THE ADMINISTRATION:
(1) SHALL ISSUE ANY AIR SCHOOL LICENSE THAT
IT REQUIRES, IF THE AIR SCHOOL IS IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE
RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE ADMINISTRATION; AND
(2) MAY CHARGE AN ANNUAL LICENSE FEE OF NOT
MORE THAN $25.
(3) AUTOMATIC ISSUANCE OF LICENSE.
ON APPLICATION AND , EXCEPT FOR THE CONSIDERATIONS
EXPRESSLY LISTED IN §5-904 (B) OF THIS SUBTITLE, WITHOUT
FURTHER REQUIREMENT, THE ADMINISTRATION SHALL ISSUE ANY
LICENSE REQUIRED BY IT, AT AN ANNUAL FEE OF $1, TO EACH
AIR SCHOOL THAT HAS BEEN ISSUED AN APPROPRIATE FEDERALLY
APPROVED AIR SCHOOL CERTIFICATE OR RATING.
REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived
without substantive change from the second and
third sentences of Art. 1A, §6-603(a).
In subsection (b) of this section, the words
"on application" are added for clarity and the
term "automatically" is deleted as
unnecessary.
As to deletion of the present references to an

5-905. SUSPENSION, REVOCATION, OR REFUSAL TO ISSUE.
