AN ACT concerning
Caroline County - Alcoholic Beverages
(Sales on Election Day)
FOR the purpose of allowing the sale of alcoholic
beverages on any election day in Caroline County.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 88(b) of Article 2B - Alcoholic
Beverages, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1976
Replacement Volume and 1976 Supplement) be and it is
hereby repealed and reenacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:
Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages
88.
(b) The holder of any license issued under the
provisions of this article shall be permitted to exercise
all of the privileges conferred by such a license on the
day of any municipal election in any of the incorporated
towns of [Caroline County or in] Harford County.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That new
Section 88(j) be and it is hereby added to Article 2B -
Alcoholic Beverages, of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1976 Replacement Volume and 1976 Supplement) to read as
follows:

88.
(J) THE HOLDER OF ANY LICENSE ISSUED UNDER THE
PROVISIONS OF THIS ARTICLE IS PERMITTED TO EXERCISE ALL
OF THE PRIVILEGES CONFERRED BY THAT LICENSE ON THE DAY OF
ANY ELECTION IN CAROLINE COUNTY.
