AN ACT concerning
Board of Censors - Surety Bond
FOR the purpose of deleting the surety bond requirement
for Members of the State Board of Censors.
BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
Article 66A — Moving Pictures

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 10 of Article 66A - Moving
Pictures, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1970
Replacement Volume and 1976 Supplement) he and it is
hereby repealed and reenacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:
Article 66A — Moving Pictures
10.
The chairman, vice—chairman and secretary shall,
before assuming the duties of their respective offices,
take and subscribe the oath prescribed by the
Constitution of the State of Maryland[, and each shall,
upon entering the performance of his duties, be covered
by a surety bond in accordance with the provisions of §§
46 through 50 of Article 78A of the Annotated Code of
Maryland].

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1977.
