(A)    A PERSON MAY NOT KNOWINGLY MAKE OR CAUSE ANY
FALSE STATEMENT OR REPORT TO BE MADE IN ANY DOCUMENT
REQUIRED TO BE FURNISHED TO THE ADMINISTRATION BY ANY AGREEMENT RELATING TO A LOAN. (B)    A PERSON APPLYING FOR A LOAN MAY NOT KNOWINGLY
MAKE OR CAUSE ANY FALSE STATEMENT OR REPORT TO BE MADE
FOR THE PURPOSE OF INFLUENCING THE ACTION OF THE
ADMINISTRATION ON A LOAN APPLICATION OR FOR THE PURPOSE
OF INFLUENCING ANY ACTION OF THE ADMINISTRATION AFFECTING
A LOAN ALREADY MADE. (C)    ANY PERSON WHO VIOLATES ANY PROVISION OF
SUBSECTION (A) OR (B) OF THIS SECTION IS GUILTY OF A
MISDEMEANOR AND ON CONVICTION IS SUBJECT TO A FINE NOT
EXCEEDING $50,000 OR IMPRISONMENT NOT EXCEEDING FIVE
YEARS OR BOTH.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1977.

CHAPTER 404 (House Bill 229) AN ACT concerning Merit System — Hall of Records Commission FOR the purpose of including employees of the Halls Hall
of Records Commission within the State classified
service, and providing that certain employees are
included in the system without examination and
without a diminution in salary or benefits. BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments, Article 64A - Merit System Section 4 Annotated Code of Maryland (1972 Replacement Volume and 1976 Supplement) BY adding to Article 64A — Merit System Section 9-0 Annotated Code of Maryland
