AN ACT concerning
Work, Labor and Employment — Contracts for Public Works
FOR the purpose of prohibiting permitting contractors and
subcontractors to refuse employment on public works
of workmen residents of a state which the
Commissioner of Labor and Industry finds enforces
laws that prohibit Maryland residents from
employment as workmen on public works in that state
with certain exceptions; to require certain
preference in certain employment; delegating certain
powers to the Secretary of the Department of General
