ACTING RESPECTIVELY AS THE DISTRICT COUNCILS OF THE
REGIONAL DISTRICT ARE HEREBY RATIFIED, CONFIRMED AND
VALIDATED.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
is hereby declared to be an emergency measure and
necessary for the immediate preservation of the public
health and safety and having been passed by a yea and nay
vote supported by three-fifths of all the members elected
to each of the two Houses of the General Assembly, the
same shall take effect from the date of its passage.

AN ACT concerning
Kent County — Election Lavs
FOR the purpose of repealing certain provisions relating
to the election laws in Kent County that are
obsolete or conflict with Article 33 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland.
BY repealing
The Public Local Laws of Kent County
Section 234 and 235
Article 15 — Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1968 Edition and 1975 Supplement, as amended)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Sections 234 and 235 of the Public Local
Laws of Kent County being Article 15 of the Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1968 Edition and 1975 Supplement, as
amended) be and they are hereby repealed:
Article 15
[234.
The Third Election District of Kent County shall be
and is hereby enlarged and divided into two voting
precincts in the manner hereinafter provided.
The Third Election District of Kent County is
divided into two election precincts with the following
metes and bounds, that is to say: Beginning at the mouth
of Still Pond River and running thence with the said
river and mill pond and stream or old road bed in the
