AN ACT concerning
Prince George's County — Regulation of Size and
Height of Vehicles
PG 220-77
FOR the purpose of authorizing Prince George's County to
promulgate and enforce rules and regulations as to
the maximum size and weight of motor vehicles,
trucks, tractors and trailers that may be operated
on its county roads; clarifying language; and
providing that the rules and regulations relating to
maximum weight laws that are passed by certain
counties shall provide for no greater weight than
that weight set by the public general laws of
Maryland.
BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 25 of Article 25 - County
Commissioners, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1973
Replacement Volume and 1976 Supplement) be and it is
hereby repealed and reenacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:
Article 25 - County Commissioners
25.
(a) They shall have power to open, alter or close
any public road or roads in their respective counties.
(b) The county commissioners of the several
