AN ACT concerning
Emergency Vehicles
FOR the purpose of defining as emergency vehicles certain
vehicles used in response to oil or hazardous
materials spills; and authorizing the Motor Vehicle
Administrator to authorize such vehicles to display
certain lights or signal devices; and providing that
this Act is an emergency measure.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Sections 1-103 and 12-218(c) of Article 66
1/2 — Vehicle Laws, of the Annotated Code of Maryland be
and they are hereby repealed and reenacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:

(1) Vehicles of the police department and
