SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 3(e) of Article 25 - County
Commissioners, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1973
Replacement Volume and 1976 Supplement) be and it is
hereby repealed and reenacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:
Article 25 — County Commissioners

(e) SUBJECT TO ANY RESTRICTION OR PROVISION
IMPOSED BY PUBLIC, GENERAL, OR PUBLIC LOCAL LAWS, [To] TO
fix and prescribe the salary or compensation of all
appointed officers and employees of the county incurred
in the performance of their official duties.
