SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1977.

CHAPTER 178
(Senate Bill 329)
AN ACT concerning
General Obligation Bonds - Payment of Expenses
FOR the purpose of authorizing the Treasurer to pay, out
of the general funds of the State, any of the
expenses connected with or incident to the issuance
of the loans authorized by certain Acts of the
General Assembly, as amended or extended, subject to
the authorization therefor in the annual State
budget; and providing that this Act does not alter
or amend any of the provisions of the enumerated
Acts of the General Assembly except with respect to
the payment of such expenses.
SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That, subject to the provision therefor in the
State budget, the Treasurer is authorized to pay upon the
warrant of the Comptroller, from the general funds of the
State, any of the expenses connected with or incident to
the issuance of the loans or any part of the loans
authorized by the following Acts of the General Assembly,
as subsequently amended or extended by the General
Assembly:
