FOR the purpose of repealing provisions permitting
chemical test of urine to be administered to motor
vehicle operators for the purpose of determining the
alcohol content of the operator's blood; clarifying
and making certain technical changes to the language

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 16-205.1 of Article -
Transportation, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (As
enacted by Chapter ____ (Senate Bill 40) of the Acts of
the General Assembly of 1977) be and it is hereby
repealed and reenacted, with amendments, to read as
follows:
Article — Transportation
16-205.1. Suspension for refusal to submit to chemical
tests for intoxication.
(a) Statement to be signed as condition to issuance
or renewal of license.
(1) As a condition precedent to the issuance
or renewal of any driver's license, the Administration
shall require the applicant to sign a certification,
containing the following language:
