ACTING THROUGH THE OFFICE OF THE ATTORNEY GENERAL MAY
INSTITUTE PROCEEDINGS IN THE PROPER COURT TO ENJOIN THE

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1977.

AN ACT concerning
Motor Vehicles — Special Personal License Tags
FOR the purpose of allowing the owner of certain trucks
to purchase special personal license tags.
BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
Article - Transportation
Section 13-613(a)
Annotated Code of Maryland
(As enacted by Chapter ____ of the Acts of the
General Assembly of 1977)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 13-613(a) of Article -
Transportation, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (As
enacted by Chapter ____ of the Acts of the General
Assembly of 1977) be and it is hereby repealed and
reenacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
Article - Transportation
13-613.
(a) (1) The owner of any class A (passenger)
vehicle, OR ANY CLASS E (TRUCK) VEHICLE WITH A 3/4 TON OR
LESS MANUFACTURER'S RATED CAPACITY, VEHICLE DESCRIBED IN
PARAGRAPH (2) OF THIS SUBSECTION may apply to the
administration for the assignment to that vehicle of a
special, personalized registration number.
(2) THIS SECTION APPLIES ONLY AS TO:
(I) A CLASS A (PASSENGER) VEHICLE; OR
