SEAT BELTS ON THE REAR SEAT OF THE VEHICLE. A PERSON MAY
NOT SELL OR OFFER FOR SALE ANY VEHICLE IN VIOLATION OF
THIS SECTION. (B)    FOR THE PURPOSE OF THIS SECTION ONLY, "MOTOR
VEHICLE" DOES NOT INCLUDE ANY MOTORCYCLE, BUS, TRUCK, OR
TAXICAB. (C)   FOR THE PURPOSE OF THIS SECTION ONLY, "SEAT
BELT" MEANS ANY BELT, STRAP, HARNESS, OR LIKE DEVICE. A
SEAT BELT MAY NOT BE SOLD OR OFFERED FOR SALE FOR USE IN
CONNECTION WITH THE OPERATION OF A MOTOR VEHICLE IN THIS
STATE AFTER JUNE 1, 1964, UNLESS IT MEETS THE CURRENT
STANDARDS AND SPECIFICATIONS OF THE SOCIETY OF AUTOMOTIVE
ENGINEERS APPLICABLE TO THESE BELTS OR OTHER STANDARD
ADOPTED BY THE ADMINISTRATOR. REVISOR'S NOTE: This section presently appears as
Art. 66 1/2, §12-412. Except for minimal changes in style and nomenclature, this section has not been revised; see General Revisor's Note to this
title. 22-412.1. SEAT BELTS AND OTHER EQUIPMENT FOR VEHICLES
USED BY NURSERY SCHOOLS, CAMPS, ETC. EVERY MOTOR VEHICLE THAT IS USED BY NURSERY SCHOOLS,
CAMPS, DAY NURSERIES, OR DAY CARE CENTERS FOR RETARDED
CHILDREN TO TRANSPORT CHILDREN AND THAT IS NOT REGULATED
AS A "SCHOOL BUS" UNDER THIS ARTICLE, SHALL BE EQUIPPED
WITH SEAT BELTS FOR EACH SEAT AND SHALL BE SUBJECT TO
SUCH OTHER REGULATIONS AS MAY BE PRESCRIBED BY THE
ADMINISTRATION. REVISOR'S NOTE: This section presently appears as
Art. 66 1/2, §12-412.1. No changes are made; see General Revisor's
Note to this title. 22-413. PROTECTORS OR FLAPS BEHIND REAR WHEELS OF
VEHICLES. (A)   A PERSON MAY NOT DRIVE OR CAUSE OR PERMIT TO
BE DRIVEN ANY BUS, TRUCK, TRAILER, OR SEMITRAILER, ON
ANY HIGHWAY IN THIS STATE UNLESS IT IS EQUIPPED WITH
SUITABLE METAL PROTECTORS OR SUBSTANTIAL FLEXIBLE FLAPS
BEHIND THE REAR-MOST WHEELS OF THE VEHICLE OR COMBINATION
OF VEHICLES TO PREVENT THE PROJECTION OF ROCKS, DIRT,
WATER, OR OTHER SUBSTANCES TO THE REAR AND TO MINIMIZE
SIDE SPRAY. (B)   THE PROTECTORS OR FLAPS SHALL HAVE A GROUND
CLEARANCE OF NOT MORE THAN ONE THIRD OF THE HORIZONTAL
DISTANCE FROM THE BOTTOM EDGE OF THE PROTECTOR OR FLAP TO
THE CENTER LINE OF THE AXLE. HOWEVER, NO PROTECTOR OR
