SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That new Section 3-607(e) be and it is hereby
added to Article 66 1/2 - Vehicle Laws, of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1970 Replacement Volume and 1975
Supplement) to read as follows:

(E) THESE SPECIAL PLATES SHALL BE ISSUED FOR:

(1)    CLASS A VEHICLES; AND

(2)    CLASS E VEHICLES HAVING A MANUFACTURER'S
RATING CAPACITY OF 3/4 TON OR LESS AND SPECIALLY EQUIPPED
FOR THE TRANSPORTATION OF, OR OPERATION BY, A HANDICAPPED
PERSON.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1976.
