notice of withdrawal therefrom.]

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the
Motor Vehicle Administrator shall be the officer to give
notice to each contracting state of the withdrawal of
this State from the Bus Taxation Proration and
Reciprocity Agreement.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1976.

CHAPTER 285

(Senate Bill 360)

AN ACT concerning

Property Tax Exemption — Disabled Veterans' Survivors

FOR the purpose of allowing surviving spouses of 100%
permanently disabled veterans to apply for and
receive [[or to continue to receive]] real property
tax exemption for the dwelling, if the veteran was a
resident of Maryland at time of death[[; and
allowing a claim for the exemption for previous
years and a refund of any tax paid]].

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article 81 — Revenue and Taxes

Section 9 (g) (1)

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1975 Replacement Volume and 1975 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 9(g) (1) of Article 81 - Revenue
and Taxes, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1975
Replacement Volume and 1975 Supplement) be and it is
hereby repealed and reenacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:

Article 81 — Revenue and Taxes

9.

(g) (1) The property of any citizen and resident of
the State who is honorably discharged or released under
honorable circumstances from active service in any branch
of the armed forces, who has been declared by the
Veterans' Administration to have a 100% service connected
