to] BEFORE July 1, 1972, with interest accruing from July
1, 1972, AND TO ALL security deposits received by the
landlord ON OR after July 1, 1972, with interest accruing
from THE date of receipt.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1976.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Sections 2-206(g), 3-302, 4-512, 8-107 (a),
8-109(h), 14-303(b) through (e), 14-306, 14-307, and
15—311 of Article — Estates and Trusts, of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1974 Volume and 1975 Supplement) be and
they are hereby repealed and reenacted, with amendments,
