CHAPTER 224
(House Bill 1847)

AN ACT concerning

Talbot County — Jurors

FOR the purpose of repealing obsolete and outmoded local
laws of Talbot County concerning the selection of
juries in that county and the powers and duties of
certain officials in relation thereto.

BY repealing

The Public Local Laws of Talbot County
Sections 261 through 268, inclusive
Article 21 — Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1930 Edition, as amended by Chapter 788 of the Acts
of 1959)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Sections 261 through 268, inclusive, of
the Public Local Laws of Talbot County being Article 21
of the Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition, as
amended by Chapter 788 of the Acts of 1959) be and they
are hereby repealed.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1976.

Approved April 13, 1976.

AN ACT concerning

Talbot County — Justices of the Peace

FOR the purpose of repealing certain obsolete and
inapplicable local laws of Talbot County concerning
the rules of practice and procedure and fees of
justices of the peace designated as trial
magistrates in Talbot County.
