supervise the doing of all necessary engineering and
other work in connection therewith. He shall receive

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1976.

FOR the purpose of changing in Caroline County the month
of convening of the Board of Estimates and the date
estimates are due; and generally relating to the
Board of Estimates in Caroline County.

Article 6 — Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1965 Edition, as amended)
SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Sections 20, 21 and 27 of the Public Local
Laws of Caroline County being Article 6 of the Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1965 Edition, as amended) be and
they are hereby repealed and reenacted, with amendments,
to read as follows:
Article 6
20.
During the month of [June] MAY of each and every
year, beginning with month of [June, 1931] MAY 1977, the
Board of County Commissioners of Caroline County, in
addition to their functions as such body as now fixed by
law, shall be[, and it is hereby constituted] "The Board
of Estimates for Caroline County," and the Clerk to the
[said] Board of County Commissioners, which is now
provided by law, shall also act as Secretary and Clerk to
the [said] Board of Estimates[; and during]. DURING the
[said] month of [June,] MAY of each [and every] year, it
