SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That new
Section 7—506(d) be and it is hereby added to Article —
Natural Resources, of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1974 Volume and 1975 Supplement) to read as follows:

REQUIRED UNDER §7-507(B) OF THIS SUBTITLE, THE SECRETARY,
ON ADVICE OF THE COMMITTEE, MAY ADJUST THE AMOUNT OF
SURETY REQUIRED FROM THE OPERATOR TO ASSURE COMPLETION OF
RECLAMATION AND REVEGETATION.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1976.

Agriculture to share in the cost of the maintenance
