[shall] MAY prepare and sign a written citation
containing a notice to appear in court, the name and
address of the person charged, appropriate license
numbers, if any, the offense charged, the time and place
the person shall appear in court, and other pertinent
information required by the Secretary.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1976.

AN ACT concerning

Oyster Taxes - Buyers, Packers and Dealers

FOR the purpose of requiring the Department of Natural
Resources to refuse to issue an oyster buyer's and
an oyster packer's and dealer's license in the case
of unpaid oyster taxes; authorizing the Department
of Natural Resources to determine taxable purchases
and sales under certain circumstances; authorizing
the Department of Natural Resources to levy a
deficiency assessment for unpaid oyster taxes due
and providing for notification of the oyster buyer
or oyster packer and dealer; providing for a penalty
for failure to pay the tax and assessment; and
generally relating to collection of oyster taxes due
the State.
