3-201.

(a) The surviving spouse is entitled to receive an
allowance of $1,000 for his personal use, and an
additional allowance of $500 for the use of each
unmarried child of the decedent [and his surviving
spouse] who has not attained the age of 18 years at the
time of the death of the decedent. UPON RECEIPT OF AN
ALLOWANCE FOR AN UNMARRIED CHILD UNDER 13 YEARS OF AGE OF

THE DECEDENT WHO IS NOT ALSO A CHILD OF THE SURVIVING

SPOUSE, THE SURVIVING SPOUSE SHALL DISTRIBUTE THAT

ALLOWANCE AS PROVIDED IN SECTION 13-501 OF THIS ARTICLE.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1976.

AN ACT concerning

Door to Door Sales Solicitations

FOR the purpose of providing that it is an unfair or
deceptive trade practice to solicit sales or
services door to door [[without revealing the
purpose immediately; requiring certain information
be]] unless certain information is given the
prospective buyer including certain identification;
and providing it is an unfair or deceptive trade
practice to use any scheme or plan which
misrepresents the purpose of the solicitation.

BY adding to

Article — Commercial Law
Section 14-302 (10) and (11)
Annotated Code of Maryland
(1975 Volume and 1975 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That new Sections 14-302 (10) and (11) be and
they are hereby added to Article — Commercial Law, of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1975 Volume and 1975
Supplement) to read as follows:
