AN ACT concerning

Charles County - Drainage

FOR the purpose of authorizing Charles County to
construct and improve drainage systems and levy
benefit assessments in certain cases; renumbering as
appropriate; and generally relating to drainage
systems and benefit assessments in Charles County.

BY renumbering

The Public Local Laws of Charles County

Sections 348F and 348G, respectively, to be 348K and

348L, respectively

Article 9 — Public Local Laws of Maryland

BY adding to

Section 348F through 348J, inclusive

(1969 Edition and 1975 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Sections 348F and 348G, respectively, of
Article — Public Local Laws of Maryland, of the Annotated
Code of Maryland, (1969 Edition and 1975 Supplement) be
and there are hereby renumbered to be Sections 348K and
348L, respectively.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That new
Sections 348F through 348K, inclusive, be and they are
hereby added to the Public Local Laws of Charles County
being Article 9 of the Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1959 Edition and 1975 Supplement) to read as follows:

THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS ARE AUTHORIZED TO CONSTRUCT
AND IMPROVE DRAINAGE SYSTEMS. THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
ALSO MAY LEVY BENEFIT ASSESSMENTS TO PAY FOR THE DRAINAGE
