BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF Article 41 — Governor — Executive and 409-I. COMMISSION ON INDIAN [[HISTORY AND CULTURE]] (A) THE COMMISSION ON INDIAN [[HISTORY AND [[WITHIN]] IN THE DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT__OF THE STATE GOVERNMENT. IT SHALL BE REFERRED TO AS THE "COMMISSION." [[(B) (1) THE COMMISSION SHALL CONSIST OF NINE (B) (1) THE COMMISSION SHALL CONSIST OF NINE MEMBERS APPOINTED BY THE GOVERNOR, A MAJORITY OF WHOM SHALL BE MEMBERS OF THE NATIVE AMERICAN INDIAN COMMUNITIES OF THIS STATE. THE MEMBERS OF THE COMMISSION SHALL HAVE KNOWLEDGE OF INDIAN CULTURE AND HISTORY, AND BE SENSITIVE TO THE PROBLEMS OF THE INDIAN COMMUNITIES. (2) MEMBERS OF THE COMMISSION SHALL RECEIVE (3) THE GOVERNOR, FROM TIME TO TIME, SHALL (4) THE COMMISSION SHALL MEET AT THE CALL OF (C) THE COMMISSION SHALL: PROJECTS (1) INITIATE, DIRECT, AND COORDINATE WHICH FURTHER THE UNDERSTANDING OF INDIAN
