Commission on the Aging — Sheltered Housing for Elderly

FOR the purpose of expanding the duties of the Director
of the Office on Aging to include development,
certification and operation of a sheltered housing
for elderly persons; renumbering; defining a certain
term; and excluding sheltered housing for elderly
from the definition of "related institution" in the
provisions relating to hospitals and related
institutions.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Sections 1 through 5, respectively, of
Article 70B — Commission on the Aging, of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1970 Replacement Volume and 1975
Supplement) be and they are hereby renumbered to be
Sections 2 through 6, respectively.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That new
Section 1 be and it is hereby added to Article 70B -
Commission on the Aging, of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1970 Replacement Volume and 1975 Supplement) to
read as follows:
